PDP Comeback Strategy: Ajia Advocates Youth Inclusion, Financial Stability

Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ilorin-west and Asa Federal Constituency, has called on the party to prioritize youth inclusion and financial stability as core strategies for revitalizing its prospects ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ajia made this appeal during a conference organized by “PDP Like Minds” at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja. Themed “Fix Our Party to Fix Nigeria,” the event attracted key members of the PDP’s National Working Committee (NWC), Board of Trustees, and grassroots supporters.
Speaking at the event, Ajia emphasized that involving young people is crucial for the party’s rejuvenation. “Nigeria’s young people are the bedrock of our democracy, and their active involvement in the PDP is essential for driving positive change,” Ajia stated.
He also stressed the need to strengthen the party’s financial base to ensure effective participation in future elections. “A financially robust party is better equipped to withstand the challenges of modern-day politics and deliver on its promises to the Nigerian people,” he added.
The conference featured discussions on internal democracy, focused leadership, and adherence to the PDP’s constitution, with Ajia’s vision for youth inclusion and financial stability resonating strongly with participants.
As the PDP strategizes for the 2027 elections, Ajia’s message stands as a rallying cry for the party to harness the energy of Nigeria’s youth while reinforcing its financial foundation to secure a return to power.
