Kwara NSCDC Inaugurates Mini-Barracks Donated By Obo-Ille Community 

His Royal Majesty, Oba Rufus Olusegun Adebayo the Owalobo of Obo-Ile Akamekun 1, has generously constructed a mini-barracks for the personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Obo-Ile Division.

The new mini-barrack, named in honor of the Kwara NSCDC State Commandant, Dr. Umar JG Mohammed, is designed to provide suitable accommodation and a conducive environment, enabling the officers to perform their duties effectively.

This is contained in a statement signed by ASC 1 Ayoola Michael Shola, CDPRO Kwara State Command and made available to newsmen in Ilorin.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony on Wednesday, 14th August 2024, the State Commandant of the NSCDC, Dr. Umar JG Mohammed thanked Oba Rufus Olusegun Adebayo the Owalobo of Obo-Ile Akamekun 1, and expressed his gratitude to the good people of Obo-Ile for their initiative and support in facilitating the construction of the facility, and gave the assurance of the optimum use of the facility.

In his remarks, His Royal Majesty, Oba Rufus Olusegun Adebayo the Owalobo of Obo-Ile expressed deep gratitude to the State Commandant for his role in bringing quality security close to his people.

He reaffirmed his community’s commitment to collaborating with the Corps and providing all necessary support.
