It appealed to the federal government to expedite action on the implementation of a reasonable minimum wage for the workers, while it also urged the leaders of thev organised labour to be reasonable on their new minimum wage template.

The league in a statement signed by its chairman, Alhaji Tunde Akanbi and publicity secretary, Alhaji Abdullahi Olesin, also urged the federal government to double its efforts at securing lives and property across the country.

It lamented the alarming spate of kidnaping of innocent residents and payment of ransom by the victims’ family to the abductors.
