Sobi Cantonment: Nigerian Army Pulls Out 16 Retired Officers (Photos)

 

The Nigerian Army Education Corps (NAEC), Sobi Cantonment, Ilorin, has organized a historic pulling out ceremony to celebrate 16 retired officers who served the nation for 39 years.

The ceremony, held at Sobi Cantonment, was attended by the Corps Commander Education, Maj. Gen. Bello Tsoho, and other dignitaries.

Maj. Gen. Tsoho praised the retired officers for their dedication and service, stating that they are still part of the system and can offer valuable advice to serving officers due to their experience.

He also commended their contributions to the security and growth of the nation.

The retired officers, including Maj. Gen. Muktar Bunza, Maj.Gen. SZ Kazaure, and Brig.Gen. BS. Ipinyomi, were honored for their service. Maj. Gen. Bunza, speaking on behalf of the retirees, thanked the Nigerian Army for the opportunity to serve and commended the Commander of NAEC for organizing the ceremony.

The retirees were celebrated with a colorful parade, and their ranks and military identity cards were retained.

The ceremony signifies the Nigerian Army’s commitment to honoring its personnel and their contributions to the nation’s security and development.

The event also featured a speech by Maj. Gen. Bunza, who urged officers to embrace science and technology to achieve the Nigerian Army’s dynamic purposes.

He encouraged them to live exemplary lives and inculcate the right values and character in the pupils and students of the command and school.
