Sanusi Arrives Kano Govt House Amid Court’s Order Stopping His Reinstatement As Emir

Muhammadu Sanusi, who was reinstated as Emir of Kano on Thursday has arrived at the Kano Government House.

Despite a court order halting his reinstatement, Sanusi has reportedly arrived to receive his official appointment letter and assume duties as the sole first-class Emir of the state.

This move comes after a Federal High Court in Kano ordered a suspension of the implementation of the Kano Emirate amendment law, which had facilitated Sanusi’s reinstatement.

Sanusi’s arrival in Kano on Friday was met with a low-key homecoming reception, signaling his anticipation of formal reinstatement.
