Ramadan: Gov. AbdulRazaq Urges Muslims To Promote Peace

 

Muslims across Nigeria have been urged to pursue peace and progress of the country as the Holy month of Ramadan draws to a close.

This is contained in a message to the Nigerian Muslims from the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq who is currently performing lesser hajj (Umrah) in the city of Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Governor AbdulRazaq who is the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF) described the crowd at the Kaabah as a remembrance of the oneness of the human community and a need to strive for peace and progress.

He said; “the large gathering at the blessed House of Allaah is a remembrance of the oneness of the human community and a need for us to act as such in our daily endeavours for peace and progress.”

Governor AbdulRazaq, however, enjoined Muslims to take advantage of the ending of Ramadan to seek the blessings of God on the human race, Kwara State, Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu, his team, and everyone.

It is a moment for introspection and a time to seek the blessings of God,” he said.

“May Allah grant us the blessings of the Night of Majesty (Laylatul Qadr), ease our affairs, and keep our feet firm on the right path. May we witness many more Ramadan in good health and faith in God,” the Governor added.
