ALGON Greets Gov AbdulRazaq on 64th Birthday 

The Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been described as a silent achiever and commended as unusual performer as he pilots the affairs of the state and chairs Nigeria’s Governors’ Forum (NGF).

The description and commendation was given by Kwara State chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) on the occasion of the Governor’s Birthday Anniversary.

In a statement by ALGON Chairman, Prince Jide Ashonibare, he said Governor AbdulRazaq is an uncommon performer and liberator in the history of the state’s democratic governance.

Ashonibare therefore called on the people of the state to join the governor in fostering unity, peace and progress as the governor plans as we as working to turn the state to a leading commercial hub in the north central of the country.

“We cannot undermine the role the Governor had played in rescuing the state from the brink of collapse.

“We at the grassroots have always been challenged to move at the pace the governor is developing the state, and we are not relenting,” he assured.

He then stressed that “Gov AA” as Governor AbdulRazaq is fondly called, “brought relief and hope to the people of Kwara, and will not stop at that but continue to work for the progress of the state.

“We at ALGON toast Gov AA to good health, peace of mind and unimagined progress. He came at a time Kwarans needed rescuer from the hegemonic backwardness. He brought relief and hope to everyone in Kwara,” he said.

“I, on behalf of ALGON members here in Kwara Stare, wishes our Dear Governor long life and prosperity,” he concluded.
