Kwara Fire Service Saves Building From Scathefire

The Kwara State Fire Service on Sunday in Ilorin saved a building from scathefire.

This is contained in a statement signed by Mr Hassan Adekunle,  Head of Department,  Media and Publicity,  Kwara State Fire Service, and made available to newsmen in Ilorin.

The incident occurred Today Sunday 26th of November, 2023 at about 17:08 hours (05:08PM) at Bamidele Dosunmu Street, Danialu area Ilorin, ilorin South Local government area kwara state.

The Brigade got to know of the fire incident through the Telephone call done by one anonymous person leaving very close to the scene of occurrence.

Firemen were able to eliminate the ravaging fire on time, and out of the 5bedroom flats in the building only One bedroom affected by burning fire.

The cause of the fire was attribute to power surge.

The Fire Service saved s total estimated property N29.3Million while a total estimated property lost was N2.3Million Naira.

Therefore, the Director, Kwara State Fire Service, Prince Falade John Olumuyiwa urged general public to always play safe especially during this period and not to hesitate to call fire brigade on time whenever there is any fire emergency in their areas, as this would save lives and properties of people in the state..
