Tribunal Affirms Mutfwang As Plateau Governor, Dismisses APC Petition

The Plateau State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Jos, has affirmed the election of Caleb Mannanseh Mutfwang of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as the Governor of Plateau State.

That was after it dismissed the petition filed by Dr. Nentawe Yilwada Goshwe of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Tribunal held that the PDP held a valid congress in Plateau State on 25th September, 2023.

The Tribunal also held that the issue of nomination and sponsorship of a candidate is a pre-election matter.
