Customs Kwara Command, UITH Visit Peace Pharmaceutical Over Fire Incident
The Customs Area Controller, Kwara Command Comptroller Kehinde Dehinde Ilesanmi has paid a sympathy visit to the management of Peace Pharmaceutical Company over the fire incident that occurred in the company recently.
Choicereporters recalled that the Peace Pharmaceutical Company, Ilorin was gutted by fire, which destroyed property worth millions of naira on Tuesday.
In a statement issued by the spokesman of the command Chado Zakari and made available to newsmen in Ilorin said: “We fill your pains, I’m here to sympathize with you over the fire incident and to equally notify you that the management of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) is with you on this trying period.”
He added that the role of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) is not only to collect revenue but to facilitate trade through forums like this.
He stressed that Peace Pharmaceutical is one of the excise factories in the state that contributed a greater percentage to the revenue profile of the Command
He prayed that God should strengthen and replenish the management with what was lost during the fire outbreak
In his response, the Managing Director, of Peace Pharmaceuticals Dr Samuel Akinlaja appreciated the Customs Area Controller, Kwara Command Compt. Kehinde Dehinde Ilesanmi for his magnanimity and thank God as no life was lost during the inferno.
Meanwhile, the management of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) led by the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Da Silver Yusuf also paid a courtesy visit to the management of Peace Pharmaceuticals on Thursday to sympathise with the company following the fire incident.
