#NigeriaDecides 2023: Kogi Peaceful, Turnout Impressive

Thousands of eligible voters in the three Senatorial districts of kogi state on Saturday, trooped to their polling booths to elect the Presidentia and National Assembly of their choice in a seamless atmosphere.
Our Correspondent who went round Lokoja,the state capital reports that voters were seen queue to cast their votes while INEC adhoc staff and other staff sighted performing their statutory responsibility to make the exercise hitch-free.
Accreditation in many of the polling booth started about 8 a.m and 8 30 a.m with all the electoral materials on hands, under the watchful of police and other security personnel, to smoothen the exercise.
In Okene, the traditional political headquarters of the central senatorial district of the state, voting process went on peacefully.
Idah and Kabba in East and West Senatorial districts of the state, similar atmosphere prevailed.
Investigation by our Correspondent the redesigned policy which prompted the cash crunch worked as many voters who spoke with our Correspondent that no politician was able to give them money to buy their votes.
Reports from other part of the state showed that voting commenced as scheduled.
