Clerics Task Nigerians on Love, Peaceful Co-existence
Nigerians have again been enjoined to let love be their guiding principles to build an egaliterian society and Nation.
The Imam of Maje-asurawa Mosque, Sheikh Abdullahi Ajikanle gave the charge today in Ilorin in his sermon delivered at a prayer organised by the Kwara State Fire Service.
Sheikh Ajikanle emphasized the need for patience, dedication to duty, prayer and moving closer to God.
The Imam called on the Firemen to make discipline and obedience their watchword in the discharge of their duties.
Also in his sermon, Pastor David Maiyegun called for the sustenance of the love existing between the Firemen to ensure effective service delivery.
Pastor Maiyegun urged them to make honesty, oneness and dedication their guiding principles.
The Two Clerics prayed for safety and protection for the Firemen in the state.
In their comments, the Director, Kwara State Fire Service, Prince John Falade and his two predecessors, Olayinka Raji and Iyanda Waheed called on them to sustain the unity and love already existing in the Service.
