GOV. ADELEKE SOLICITES SUPPORT, COOPERATION OF OSUN ASSEMBLY

The governor of Osun State Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke has solicited for the support and cooperation of the Osun State House of Assembly members for his administration to succeed.

Governor Adeleke made this remarks in his speech during the first courtesy visit to the House of Assembly in Osogbo on Monday.

He appealed to every one to join his administration to move the state forward.

According to him, I want everyone to join me to move the state forward.

“I want hand of fellowship from you all and solicit your cooperation too” he added.

He noted that the executive arm of government cannot do it alone without the support of the State House of Assembly and the judiciary.

He promised that his administration would not cheat anyone but will also to carry all along.

He also promised that the state would be first and unique in the country in term of development.

He said, “l promise that every one will be happy and there will be peace in the state”.

He confirmed that his administration would continue from where the last administration stopped in the interest of the progress of the state.

He also promised to ensure good communication and working relationship with the lawmakers.

In his remarks, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye congratulated the governor of the state Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for his inauguration.

He described the House of Assembly as the secret and beauty of democracy of any land.

He promised to continue with good cooperation with the new state executive.

He confirmed that House of Assembly is the bedrock of democracy.

He noted that the 7th Assembly would not be blind to beauty of democracy at all.

According to him, We must strengthen our channels of communication.

“We promise to continue with good relationship and harmony with the executive” he added.

He stressed the need for each arms of government to respect each other for the sake of good governance.

He urged everyone to put the interest of the state first in his or her mind.
