Emir of Ilorin Tasks Residents on Peaceful Coexistence

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has said that only peaceful coexistence among the citizens can transform into the desired growth and development in the state.

The Emir, in a ‘Thank You’ message issued by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, stressed that the first class traditional ruler expressed his appreciation shortly on arrival at the Ilorin International Airport on Sunday.

The royal father, thanked the people of Ilorin Emirate and beyond for their fervent prayers on the occasion of his 27th coronation anniversary while he was away in the United Kingdom.

He added that he will continue to play his fatherly roles in the state as the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs with the support and continuous prayers of residence of the state saying “Only peaceful coexistence can transform into the desired growth and development in the state.”

Alhaji Sulu-Gambari, therefore, enjoined all and sundry to remain dutiful, prayerful and committed to the acts capable of sustaining the tempo of scholarship and economic prosperity in Kwara State and Nigeria at large.

The Emir was received by traditional Chiefs, Islamic clerics, associations and groups who expressed their solidarity and loyalty to the him in appreciation of his roles as father to all.
