FG Re-appoints Prof. Dasilva Yusuf, CMD-UITH For Second Term

Ilorin: The Management of University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) has applauded the re-appointment of Prof Abdullah Dasliva, as the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) for the second term.

Mrs Elizabeth Ajiboye, Director of Corporate Affairs, UITH made the disclosure on Wednesday in a Press Statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

The statement read: “His Excellency, the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the re-appointment of Prof Abdullah Dasliva as the CMD of UITH.

“The re-appointment took effect from 19th June, 2022, which was conveyed through a letter dated Aug. 2022 by Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire.

“It will be recalled that Prof Dasilva was initially appointed as the Chief Medical Director on June 19th, 2018,” she said.

According to her, Yusuf has solidly consolidated a foundation of an enviable and sustainable legacy, during his eventful first term in office, which has earned him the second term approval.

She explained that Yusuf, is a Consultant and Professor of Psychiatry, who has several administrative and professional qualifications.

“The hospital community congratulates the CMD on his re-appointment and wishes him success in his second term,” she said. (NAN)
