Olomu of Omupo Commiserates with Yusuf Family over Matriarch’s Death

The Olomu of Omupo Land, HRH Oba Muhammed-Yakubu Adebayo Buari, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaja Sifawu Aduke Yusuf, describing her death as a painful loss to her family and the community.
In a condolence message addressed to the bereaved family, the traditional ruler noted that the demise of a beloved mother is always difficult to bear, particularly at a time when her presence is most cherished.
“I received with deep sadness the news of the death of your dearly beloved mother, Alhaja Sifawu Aduke Yusuf. Her death at this time is most certainly very painful, and I share in the grief of losing a very dear mother,” the statement read in part.
Oba Buari, however, urged the family to take solace in the belief that the deceased returned to her Creator during the holy month of Ramadan, a period considered sacred in Islam.
The Royal Father also encouraged them to find comfort in the impactful and exemplary life she lived as a devout Muslim.
Oba Buari further commended the late Alhaja Yusuf for the good legacy she left behind, noting that her virtues continue to reflect in her children and loved ones.
On behalf of himself, his family, and the entire people of Omupo, the Olomu offered prayers for the repose of her soul, asking Allah to forgive her shortcomings, grant her abundant mercy, and admit her into Aljanat Firdaus.
He also prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
“Please accept my heartfelt condolences,” the monarch added.
