In a statement he personally issued to mark the monarch’s birthday, Dr. Alabi noted that the occasion represents more than a personal milestone, but a recognition of a reign distinguished by stability, purposeful leadership, and community advancement in Igbomina/Ekiti and Kwara State at large.
He commended Oba Alebiosu for redefining the traditional institution in Ajase-Ipo, positioning the throne as a platform for dialogue, cultural preservation, and constructive engagement with government and relevant stakeholders on grassroots development.

“Kabiyesi’s reign embodies the ideals of peace and responsible leadership. The palace has become a centre for consultation, reconciliation, and collective decision-making. His birthday, therefore, is not merely about marking another year, but about celebrating the tangible impact of his leadership on our people,” he said.
Alabi observed that under Olupo’s guidance, Ajase-Ipo has experienced sustained harmony and a renewed sense of communal identity, creating an enabling environment for development initiatives and stronger collaboration between traditional authorities and modern governance structures.
He also acknowledged the monarch’s role as Chairman of the Igbomina Ekiti Traditional Rulers Forum, describing his leadership at the regional level as instrumental in fostering unity and coordinated action among traditional rulers.
“Through his chairmanship, Kabiyesi has promoted a unified voice for Igbomina/ Ekiti communities, ensuring that matters of security, culture, and development are addressed with collective responsibility and foresight,” he added.
Dr. Alabi further praised the monarch’s intellectual capacity and legal background, noting that his professionalism and disciplined approach have elevated traditional leadership and set a commendable standard for modern monarchy anchored on justice and cultural values.
He offered prayers for the monarch’s continued good health, wisdom, and long life, emphasising that his guidance remains crucial to the peace and advancement of Ajase-Ipo and the wider Igbomina region.
