30 Days in Office: Omo Ibile Igbomina Inaugurates Strategic Committees

Omo Ibile Igbomina, the apex socio-cultural organisation of the Igbomina people, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, held its Thirty-Day Stewardship Review and Inauguration of Strategic Steering Committees at the Igbomina House, Ganmo, Ifelodun LGA.
The event which was graced by HRM Oba Abdulraheem Oladele Adeoti, the Olomu of Omu-Aran, alongside eminent Igbomina sons and daughters including Prof. Wale Sulaiman, CON; Prof. Muritala Awodun; Engr. C.O. Adebayo; Chief Sunday Bamigboye, SAN; Chief Kunle Oyinloye; and Prof. Mukaila Aremu, as well as religious leaders, past leaders of Omo Ibile Igbomina, and other distinguished stakeholders.
Addressing the gathering, the National President, Sir ‘Bisi Fakayode, described the first thirty days of the administration, inaugurated on January 10, 2026, as a strong foundation for the organisation’s three-point agenda of Rescue, Revitalize, and Rebuild Igbomina Nation.
Achievements highlighted included interfaith thanksgiving services, stakeholder engagements, diaspora relations, digital visibility, renewed partnerships with UNESCO and UNICEF, and advocacy efforts contributing to improved security and the reopening of schools in affected areas.
In his remarks, HRM Oba Abdulraheem Oladele Adeoti urged members of the newly inaugurated committees to pursue their mandates with accountability, clear strategies, and measurable outcomes.
The Strategic Steering Committees, covering Healthcare, Education, Governance and Political Inclusion, Economic Revival, and Agricultural Development, were formally inaugurated by the Life Legal Adviser, Chief P.A.O. Olorunnisola, SAN.
The ceremony concluded with interfaith prayers and the laying of the foundation for a public toilet at Igbomina House, reflecting the administration’s commitment to practical development initiatives.
Omo Ibile Igbomina expressed appreciation to royal fathers, elders, professionals, youths, women groups, government officials, and all stakeholders, reiterating that the journey of transformation for Igbomina land has just begun.
