Makinde Announces Ladoja As Chairman Oyo Council Of Obas, Alaafin Absent

Oyo State Governor,  Seyi Makinde, has announced the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, as the New Chairman of Oyo State Council of Obas.

The Governor made the pronouncement at a brief event held at House of Chiefs, Agodi, Ibadan on Thursday. .

The Governor said the chairmanship will be rotational between the trio of Olubadan, Alaafin of Oyo and Soun of Ogbomoso-land with a period of two years each.

Meanwhile, The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade was absent at the event.
