Renowned industrialist and community development advocate, Dr. Oluwatoyin Tajudeen Alabi, has congratulated the Kwara State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Sunday Adeniran Fagbemi, and his wife, Princess Ayodele Fagbemi, on the twin honours recently bestowed on them, describing the recognitions as a testament to their uncommon leadership and service.

Prince Fagbemi was honoured with a Merit Award for his steadfast leadership, integrity, and remarkable contributions to political stability and grassroots development across Kwara State. His wife, Princess Ayodele Fagbemi, was also installed as the Erelu of Obbo Aiyegunle Kingdom—an esteemed chieftaincy title reserved for women of noble character, cultural relevance, and proven dedication to community upliftment.

Reacting to the recognitions, Dr. Alabi praised the couple for embodying the values of dignity, service, and responsible leadership.

“This is more than a celebration of personal achievements,” Dr. Alabi said.
“It is a reminder that humility, compassion, and service-driven leadership will always be rewarded. Prince Fagbemi’s political integrity and Princess Ayodele’s social contributions have earned them these honourable distinctions.”

Dr. Alabi described Prince Fagbemi as a stabilising figure in Kwara’s political environment, one who has consistently fostered internal party unity, supported developmental initiatives, and championed inclusive and transparent leadership.

He further commended Princess Ayodele’s installation as Erelu, noting that it reflects her unwavering commitment to supporting others.

“She is a woman whose grace, generosity, and tireless community service have touched many lives,” he said.

“Her recognition as Erelu is well-deserved and speaks of the deep respect she commands in her kingdom.”
