Dr. Oluwatoyin Alabi Celebrates Sheikh Muhammad Tajudeen Thanni, Grand Mukadam of Igbaja, on His Birthday

Renowned entrepreneur, community leader, and President of Igbaja Progressive Union National Executive Council (IPUNEC), Dr. Oluwatoyin Tajudeen Alabi, has joined thousands of well-wishers across Igbaja Land and beyond to celebrate the birthday of the revered Grand Mukadam of Igbaja and its environs, Sheikh Muhammad Tajudeen Muhammad Thanni.
In a heartfelt message on Friday, Dr. Alabi described the Grand Mukadam as “a towering spiritual light whose guidance, humility, and unbroken devotion to the propagation of Islamic knowledge have shaped generations across Igbaja land and beyond.”
He noted that Sheikh Tajudeen’s decades of service as a teacher, scholar, and moral compass have strengthened the spiritual fabric of the community, elevating Igbaja’s reputation as a centre of Islamic learning and disciplined leadership.
“Sheikh Tajudeen Muhammad Thanni is a priceless gift to our land,” Dr. Alabi said.
“His voice, teachings, and character continue to inspire us. On this special day, we celebrate a man whose life is a walking testimony of piety, wisdom, and service to Allah and humanity.”
Dr. Alabi invoked the comforting words of the Qur’an, praying that Almighty Allah grants Sheikh Tajudeen long life in good health and abundant mercy:
“And whosoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out and He will provide for him from where he does not expect.” Qur’an 65:2–3
“May Allah continue to open doors of ease, mercy, and divine support for our father and teacher,” he added.
He further prayed for Allah to answer the Grand Mukadam’s sincere supplications, grant him victories in his endeavors, strengthen his health, and bless him with many more fulfilling years in the land of the living.
The birthday of Sheikh Tajudeen has continued to draw celebrations from scholars, traditional leaders, students, and admirers both at home and in the diaspora, underscoring his influence and enduring legacy as one of Igbaja’s foremost Islamic voices.
Dr. Alabi concluded by extending warm congratulations, saying:
“Happy blessed birthday to our esteemed Sheikh. May Allah’s Rahmah be upon you today and always.”
