The 20-year milestone of Shaykh Yusuf Oladije Yusuf as the Naibul-Imam of Igbaja has attracted glowing commendations across the community, with renowned businessman and public affairs advocate, Dr. Oluwatoyin Tajudeen Alabi, describing the cleric as “a distinguished symbol of early leadership and enduring spiritual excellence.”

Shaykh Yusuf’s ascension to the revered position at a notably young age remains one of the most remarkable chapters in the religious history of Igbaja.

Two decades later, his journey has blossomed into a legacy of humility, scholarship, and unwavering service to the people.

In his tribute, Dr. Alabi noted that the Naibul-Imam’s early installation was not by accident but a reflection of the exceptional wisdom and moral maturity he displayed even in his youth.

“To be entrusted with such a sacred responsibility early in life is rare,” Dr. Alabi noted.

“But what is even more admirable is how Shaykh Yusuf has carried that trust with grace, stability, and a deep sense of purpose for twenty unbroken years.”

Dr. Alabi highlighted the cleric’s commitment to Islamic education, his role in shaping the character of young Muslims, and his peaceful approach to community leadership, acknowledging these as pillars that have strengthened Igbaja’s spiritual identity.

“His leadership has been a guiding light,” he added. “Through the way he teaches, counsels, and mediates, he has influenced lives across generations. This anniversary is not just a personal landmark, it is a celebration for the entire community.”

Dr. Alabi concluded with prayers for increased divine wisdom and a long life of service for the Naibul-Imam as he continues to shape the spiritual landscape of Igbaja.
