Kwara Police Reassure Danialu, Agbabiaka Residents Amid Security Concerns

 

The Kwara State Police Command has assured residents of Danialu and Agbabiaka areas in Ilorin of their safety following reports of unfamiliar individuals sighted around the Danialu Primary School axis.

In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, CP Adekimi Ojo, the Command commended residents for their vigilance and swift communication of information that could help maintain security in the area.

“The Command appreciates the alertness of community members and their promptness in sharing such vital information,” the statement read.

CP Ojo emphasized that the police have taken proactive steps to ensure public safety, deploying operatives for discreet surveillance, intelligence gathering, and continuous patrols in the affected locations.

He urged residents to remain calm and continue their lawful activities without fear, assuring them that “no criminal activity or threat to public peace will be allowed to take root in the area.”

The Police Commissioner further appealed to the public to sustain their cooperation by providing credible and timely information through the Command’s emergency contact lines or by visiting the nearest police station.

“The Kwara State Police Command remains unwavering in its commitment to protect lives and property across the state,” the statement concluded.
