Real Estate firm organises free medical outreach for 100 indigents in Abeokuta

The Orbit Africa Properties, one of the leading Real Estate company, has organised free medical outreach for about 100 elderly indigents in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Speaking with newsmen on Monday, during the medical outreach, Mr. Wisdom Oluwaseun-Okoko, the Co-founder of Orbit Africa Properties explained that the medical outreach is part of the activities organised to Launch the new office space of Orbit Africa Properties in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

He noted that the humanitarian gesture is part of the organization’s commitment to giving back to the communities.

Okoko described the outreach as a gesture of appreciation for the community’s support and cooperation, particularly during the launch of their first ever property; Kinshasa-Africa in Kobape area of Ogun state.

According to him, the launch of the branch office is to provide accessible and affordable affordable landed properties in State.

“We are not just selling land; we are creating a community with basic amenities that enhance property value,” he said.

Okoko observed that the peace and security enjoyed on the project site were largely due to the community’s warm reception.

“The medical outreach is part of Orbit Africa Properties’ broader vision to be more than just a real estate company but a contributor to the community’s growth story.

“By establishing a branch office in Abeokuta, We aim to strengthen our relationship with the community, provide easier access to services, and continue making positive contributions to the environment,” he said.

The expert on Real Estate pointed out that the company’s initiative has been well-received by the community, with many beneficiaries expressing gratitude for the free medical services.

“The organization’s’ commitment to corporate social responsibility is evident in its efforts to improve the lives of those around them, and this outreach is a testament to their dedication to the community’s well-being,” he said.

Responding to the free medical outreach, an elderly beneficiary, Mrs Ibukun Idowu
expressed heartfelt gratitude to the company for the life-changing initiative.

She commended the company for its kindness and commitment to improving the health and well-being of the aged people in the community.

On her part, Mrs Titilayo Adeogun, another beneficiary said: “We are truly grateful for this gesture. Many of us couldn’t afford medical care otherwise, and this outreach has brought much-needed relief.

“Orbit Africa Properties has shown that it genuinely cares about the community. We’re thankful for their investment in our health.”

The outreach includes testing for blood sugar, diabetes, hypertension, HIV/Aids. There were free drugs, however some referrals were made to secondary healthcare facilities for those with disease that require intensive care.
