Dr. Oluwatoyin Alabi Meets APC Stakeholders at Share Secretariat, Canvasses Unity, Grassroots Mobilization
Dr Oluwatoyin Alabi, a community leader and a Star Associate of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has stressed the importance of unity, grassroots mobilization, and strategic collaboration within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifelodun Local Government Area.
Dr. Alabi made this call during an interactive ssession with APC ward chairmen and stakeholders held at the APC Party Secretariat in Share, headquarters of Ifelodun LGA.
The meeting was convened to deepen engagement with party members at the grassroots and to rally support for the party’s ongoing developmental agenda in Kwara State towards total victory in 2027 general elections.
The session had in attendance party leaders and ward chairmen from Igbaja, Share, Elere, Oro-Ago, Oke Ode, Agunjin, Omupo, Idofian, and other wards across the local government area.
Introducing Dr. Alabi to the gathering was his Personal Assistant, Alhaji Akande Egbebi, while the APC Ifelodun Local Government Chairman, Architect Lukman Abubakar, officially welcomed him, commending his grassroots approach and consistent involvement in community development initiatives.
In his address, Dr. Alabi expressed profound appreciation to the party leaders for granting him the platform to interact with its stakeholders and executives.
He spoke extensively about his experience in the hospitality industry spanning over four decades and his leadership roles, particularly as the Chairman of the Igbaja Progressive Union National Executive Council (IPUNEC) for the past six years.
“Kwara’s progress depends on quality leadership, unity of purpose, and the unwavering dedication of party members like you. I commend the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, our Governor, and all who have worked tirelessly to bring Kwara to its current developmental strides,” Alabi remarked.
He noted the visible transformation Kwara State has experienced under the current administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, urging stakeholders to sustain the momentum by reinforcing party structures at the grassroots level.
Dr. Alabi also emphasized the need for all members to collectively work towards the smooth re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing that political success begins with unity, loyalty, and proactive participation from the grassroots.
“Our strength lies in our unity. We must ensure that our internal cohesion remains solid as we project a unified front for the greater good of Kwara State and Nigeria,” he added.
Architect Lukman Abubakar, in his welcome address, appreciated Dr. Alabi’s humility and proactive engagement with the party’s grassroots leaders.
He stressed that more interactions of such nature are essential towards fortifying the party’s grassroots mobilization ahead of future elections.
The meeting concluded with commitments from ward leaders to redouble efforts in strengthening the party’s presence across all wards in Ifelodun LGA, ensuring unity, harmony, and progressive development.
