Kwara RIFAN Commiserates With Comm For livestock Over Dad’s Death
The Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN) Kwara State Chapter has commiserated with the state Commissioner for livestocks, Hon Oloruntoyosi Thomas, and her family over the death of her father former governor of Kwara state and Minister of Communications His Excellency Chief Cornelius Adebayo in the early hours of Wednesday
In a condolence message the state Coordinator of RIFAN Mohammed Salihu described the demise of the former governor and Minister as a great loss to the family ,state and the Nation as a whole.
According to him the elder statesman would be remembered for his contribution to education, business sector as well as state and National development.
Mallam Salihu urged the Hon commissioner to find solace in the fact that His Excellency Chief Cornelius Adebayo has dedicated his life time in serving humanity.
He prayed Almighty God to grant him eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
His Excellency Chief Cornelius Adebayo has serve the state and the country in many capacity during his life time which included,the Executive Governor of Kwara state in 1983, Minister of Communications, Commissioner for Education and Commissioner for Information all in Kwara state among others.
The Association noted that it will be waiting for the updates on burial arrangements, respecting your privacy, while our thoughts and prayers are always with yon.
