Dr Oluwatoyin Alabi Congratulates Moji Makanjuola on NUJ Honour

 

A progress advocate and public affairs champion as well as President of the Igbaja Progressive Union National Executive Council (IPUNEC), Dr. Oluwatoyin Alabi, has congratulated veteran journalist and former NAWOJ President, Mrs. Moji Makanjuola, on her recent recognition by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).

In a statement issued on Sunday, Dr. Alabi described the honour as a well-deserved celebration of a woman whose contributions to journalism, women’s empowerment, and national development have left an indelible mark on Nigeria’s media landscape.

Mrs. Makanjuola, a former National President of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), was recently honoured by the NUJ leadership for her pioneering efforts in journalism and her enduring impact on the growth of women in the profession.

Dr. Alabi lauded her as a “woman of substance,” noting that her career as a trailblazing broadcast journalist, coupled with her deep commitment to excellence, has inspired generations of media professionals.
