JAMB: Markaz Agege alumni describes Oloyede as man of integrity

The Naqabatul Markaziyyun Alumni Association, popularly known as Markaz Agege, has described Prof Is’haq Oloyede, the JAMB Registrar as a man of unequal of integrity and national icon.

Prof Hamzat AbdulRaheem, the Secretary General of the Association stated this in Ilorin during a news conference held in Ilorin sequel to the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

This comes against the backdrop of JAMB admitting errors in the results of some candidates who took the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations.

AbdulRaheem observed that Oloyede who is an alumni of the institution is reknown for honesty, probity and veritable source of inspiration for many Nigerians.

The association described the discrepancies in the JAMB results as technnical glitches, which can happen.

“His records of achievements is reknown. This should therefore not warrant any call for resignation from any quaters.

“We appreciate the stand of the agency to order for a resit examination in some centers where technical glitch was observed.

“We share the pain of the affected candidates and their parents for the trauma the incident might have caused there,” said Ishola.

The association appealed to parents not to be frustrated in a situation of this nature but to be optimistic, understanding, persevere and trust in Allah.
