Olomu of Omupo Congratulates indigenes of Omupo that participated in Lagos APC primary elections

His Royal Highness Oba Muhammed-Adebayo Buari, Olomu of Omupo has congratulated all indigenes of Omupo that participated in the primary elections organized by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos branch to nominate its candidates to Chairmanship and Councillorship positions in the
forthcoming Local Government elections in the State.
This is contained in a statement signed by the National General Secretary of the Omupo Descendants’ Union, Alhaji Tajudeen Adigun and made available to newsmen on Monday.
According to the statement, the Omupo indigenes, who were candidates in the primaries are Hon. Jubril Kolawole Emilagba, Lagos Mainland Local Government; Hon. Kabir Bolakale Lawal, Ifelodun Local Council Development Area;
Hon. Aweda Olushola, Councillor Ward E, Apapa Iganmu; and Hon. Saheed Mogaji Ayinde, Ward H, Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government Area.
Oba Buari thanked them all for making Omupo proud through their impressive contest for nomination in the party primaries.
In a separate calls and letters, Oba Buari congratulated Hon. Emilagba for winning APC nomination to contest for the position for the position of Chairman of the Lagos Mainland Local Government.
He also congratulated Hon. Aweda Olushola and Hon. Saheed Mogaji for their victories to represent their constituents as Councillors in their various Wards.
Oba Buari also commended Hon. Kabiru Lawal for his highly spirited contest to win the nomination as Chairmanship candidate for the Ifelodun Local Development Area.
He expressed his belief that members and leadership of the party in the local government are very well aware of his
abundant capacity to manage the affairs of the local development agency brilliantly.
Kabiyesi, therefore, urged him to continue to demonstrate his commitment to the welfare of the constituents and not to be disappointed by this temporary setback.
Oba Buari prayed for the successful candidate to emerged victorious at the State Local Government elections taking place on July 12, 2025.
The candidates individually thanked and appreciated Olomu for his call, congratulatory message and words of encouragement.
They thanked all sons and daughters of Omupo for their prayers and support and promised not to let Omupo and her inidigenes down in their activities.
Meanwhile, Olomu Buari has charged all indigenes of Omupo resident in the various
constituencies in Lagos to mobilize and turn out in large numbers on the election day to vote 100 percent for all the candidates.
He implored the Omupo Descendants’ Union, Lagos branch, to champion the mobilization of voters for their election.
