Ballistic missile fired by Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen, targeting Israel, land in Saudi Arabia
A ballistic missile fired by the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen, apparently targeting Israel, landed in Saudi Arabia earlier today.
The IDF detected the launch, but no alarms were triggered in Israel since the missile posed no direct threat.
Since March 18, when Israel resumed its military operations against Hamas in Gaza, the Houthis have launched over 18 ballistic missiles and two drones toward Israel.
Only 10 missile launches resulted in sirens, with the rest (45 percent) falling short.
Separately, the Houthis claimed to have launched a drone toward Israel today, but again, no alerts were sounded.
