“I had the honour of attending his Janaza burial in Offa today to pay my last respects. He was not just a legal giant but also a man of great wisdom, native intelligence, and a pragmatic approach to life. My prayers are with his family, friends, and the entire Offa community. May Almighty God grant him eternal rest,” Ogunniyi said.

His passing leaves a void in the academic and legal spheres, but his legacy will live on in the many lives he touched and the knowledge he imparted.
