The Federal Government has been called upon to implement economic policies that prioritize the welfare of Nigerians and address critical infrastructure deficits, particularly in the power sector.
This appeal was made by the Spiritual Father and Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Prophet Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, during the “Beginning the Year with Praise” program held at the Church’s Ilorin District Headquarters.
Addressing journalists at the event, Prophet Alogbo stressed the need for urgent action to tackle Nigeria’s infrastructure challenges to spur development and improve living standards.
“The government must prioritize people-oriented policies to alleviate hunger and improve the living standard of citizens,” he said,
He urged Nigerians to support authorities at all levels while assuring that the Church would continue to intercede for the nation’s success.
In his sermon titled “Praising the Ancient of Days,” Pastor Ademola Popoola emphasized the importance of justice, fairness, and honesty as the foundation of a prosperous nation.
He also urged the government to discard ineffective policies and ensure prompt payment of workers’ salaries.
The programme reinforced the Church’s commitment to fostering national unity, progress, and moral values through spiritual and social interventions.
