KWASU VC Mourns Late Chief of Staff to Kwara Governor, Describes Him as a Pillar of Growth

 

The Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, has described the demise of Alhaji Abdulkadir Mahe, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kwara State, as a significant loss to the Ilorin Emirate and the state at large.

In a statement issued by Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, Acting Director of University Relations, and made available to newsmen in Ilorin, Professor Jimoh expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Mahe.

Describing the late Chief of Staff as “a frontline Kwaran committed to the growth and stability of the State,” the Vice-Chancellor noted that Alhaji Mahe was a close ally of KWASU whose contributions to the institution and the state would be deeply missed.

“On behalf of the Council, Management, Staff, and Students of KWASU, I extend heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari; and the entire people of Kwara State.

We pray that Allah forgives the soul of Alhaji Abdulkadir Mahe and grants his family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss,” the Vice-Chancellor said.

The late Alhaji Abdulkadir Mahe was regarded as a key figure in the state’s governance and a staunch supporter of community development. His death has left a vacuum in the state’s leadership and among his associates.
