Top Gov AbdulRazaq Associate Resigns from Cabinet following Demolition of MM’s Plaza
In a shocking development, Barrister A.U. Mustapha (SAN), a prominent legal luminary and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, has tendered his resignation as the Chairman of the Kwara State Education Trust Fund under the Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq administration.
A philanthropist and advocate for education, Mustapha was known for his personal contributions to improving educational infrastructure.
Notably, he upgraded the classroom structures at IwanuDeen Government Primary School in Kuntu, transforming dilapidated buildings into a modern-day story building.
His impact extended to sports development as well, with the upgrading of the main bowl facility at the Kwara State Stadium Complex after it was damaged during a political rally organized by the governor’s party, the APC.
Although, the reason for his resignation was not stated in his letter but pundits believe it is not unconnected to the exhibition of frustration by the governor of Kwara State who has now taken it upon himself to be demolishing properties of those who disagreed with him politically
