IDF Announces Recovery of Israeli Soldier Abducted, Killed in Oct. 7

The IDF announced that the body of an Israeli soldier, killed and abducted by Hamas on October 7, was recovered from southern Gaza overnight.

The soldier’s name remains undisclosed at the family’s request.

Following this operation, 103 of the 251 hostages taken on October 7 are still in Gaza, including 33 confirmed dead by the IDF.

Hamas released 105 civilians during a truce in late November, with four others freed earlier.

Eight hostages have been rescued alive, and 31 bodies have been recovered, including three mistakenly killed by the IDF during escape attempts.

Hamas is also holding two Israeli civilians who entered Gaza in 2014 and 2015, as well as the bodies of two IDF soldiers killed in 2014.

Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar

Meanwhile, Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was reportedly hiding with the last 20 hostages in Gaza, complicating Israeli efforts to capture him.

Smaller terrorist factions under his control are rebelling, demanding representation and the release of all dangerous Arab prisoners from Israeli jails.

Also, Floyd Mayweather, Michael Porter Jr., Tyler Herro and Jarred Vanderbilt all attended the LA With Love Legacy teens event at Haim Saban’s home with their friend Jona Rechnitz.

The event included a special group of 62 bereaved siblings and children from the ongoing war in Israel, accompanied by 8 bereaved IDF soldiers and 4 commanders, to Los Angeles earlier this week. The stars came to offer them the comfort and care they so deserve.

One of the kids who recently lost their father in the war told staff member that this was the happiest day they have had since their father’s passing.
