LG Polls: AGF Salahuddeen Hosts Peace Meeting With Chairmanship Aspirants
**15 Aspirants Pledges unity ahead of Ifelodun LG Primary Election
Hon AGF Salahuddeen, member representing Omupo Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, has re-emphasized the importance for all the aspirants to approach the electoral process with fairness and also be committed to the unity and harmony of the party towards the forthcoming Local Government Elections by September 21, 2024.
The meeting aims to facilitate a fair and Harmonious selection of Candidates in Ifelodun Local Government which has been Zoned to Omupo Constituency.
“This constituency is serious about taking on the leadership of the local government. Our united voices have demonstrated our commitment to the development of our constituency.
“We have long been denied this position, and we are ready to claim it this time around,” said Hon. AGF Salahuddeen.
The aspirants at the meeting unanimously agreed to respect the supremacy of the party.
They pledged to support and canvass for whoever emerges as the Chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifelodun Local Government.
The aspirants present at the meeting included: Olorunshogo Oluwabiyi of Ora Ward, Ebun Oyeleye of Igbaja III Ward, Olarewaju Aperun of Igbaja II Ward, Lawal Olanrewaju of Ora Ward, Alate Jamiu of Igbaja III Ward, Barr. Fatai Olaokun of Igbaja III Ward, Lawal Sulieman Duduyemi of Igbaja III Ward, Princess Atoyebi Toyibah of Omupo Ward, Habeeb Mustapha of Idofian II, Sadiq Amoo Raheem of Igbaja II Ward, Surajudeen Babatunde of Ora Ward, Ayinla Olakunle of Omupo Ward, Yusuf Femi of Igbaja I, and Ajikobi Funmilayo Ruth of Ora Ward.
