Enhancing Community Safety: NSCDC Opens New Outpost in Ilupeju
In a bid to boost security and curb crime at the grassroots level, the Kwara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Umar JG Mohammed, inaugurated a new outpost donated by the Ilupeju community in Ifelodun local government area of Kwara State on Friday.
During the inauguration, ACC Awoyale Olusoji Ayodeji, who represented the the commandant, lauded the community’s collaborative spirit and hard work, highlighting that their support and dedication were key to realizing the project.
He assured the community that the NSCDC is steadfast in its mission to protect lives and properties, emphasizing that the new outpost will play a crucial role in crime prevention in the area.
The Oni Ilupeju of Ilupeju, HRM Alhaji Momodu Akande, expressed his profound gratitude to the state commandant for approving the construction of the outpost.
He reaffirmed the community’s unwavering commitment to providing a supportive and conducive environment for the officers stationed there, ensuring they have the necessary resources and cooperation to carry out their duties effectively.
