President Tinubu Hosts Nigerian Governors Forum to iftar

President Bola Ahmed hosted members of the Governor’s Forum to an iftar (breaking of Ramadan fast) at the Presidential Villa on Thursday in Abuja.

Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and Chairman NGF and Kwara State Governor led his colleagues to the Villa.

According to him, tonight, I led my colleagues at the Nigeria Governors’ Forum for an iftar (breaking of Ramadan fast) with the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at the State House, Abuja.

“Hosted by the President himself, the iftar was a moment to briefly reflect on the state of the nation and a need to convert the challenges we currently face to greater opportunities for growth.

Leveraging the Ramadan and Lenten season, the President spoke on the need for national unity and collective actions that would see us through the current phase.

In response to Mr. President’s gracious appeal for united efforts across party lines to build our fatherland, I assured him on behalf of my colleagues that we will do everything at the subnational level to work with the Federal Government in the service of our people, especially in public welfare, food security, infrastructural development, and other efforts that will grow the economy, create jobs, and bring more ease to the people.
