International Women’s Day:  Groups Task Women on Self-reliance, Confidence 

 

Women have been urged to be self reliant and know their worth

Speaking at International Women’s Day in Ilorin organised by Non Profit Organisation MALhub in partnership with Plat Technologies Limited, Ilorin innovation Hub and Fairshop with the with theme: Inspiring Inclusion, the Managing Director of MALhub, Kamaldeen Kehinde and Co-founder , Abubakar Sodiq, said the Non Profit Organisation aimed to launch women focus programme to empower women in technology for them to be self-reliant.

Panelist at the event Mrs Juliet Ronke Halawani, founder, Evolver withjuliet, Mrs Kayode Joy, freelance and Digital Entrepreneur, Hajarat Abiodun Alli, Curator Wellness at Spa Pampering At Home, Miss Abiodun Victoria, Block Chain Writer and Miss Ayokanmi Angel, Human Resources Manager EVC also stressed the need for women to leave their comfort zone and be the best version of themselves.

They stressed the need for women to put feet on the ground as well be confidence, blow their trumpet, build a team not competition and collaborate to actualize their set goals

They also stressed the need for women to welcome healthy competition, volunteer and charge for their service and win.

They also stressed the need for women to be fully independent and be a rich housewife and surround themselves with the right mentorship, monetize their expertise added that they should get up on their feet and do something.

They also stressed the need for women to learn a skills, keep investing in themselves.

They also stressed the need for women to have empathy as everyone is going through a lot of things added that that when they become a rich house wife they should not use it to oppress their husbands.
