Director, Kwara State Fire Service Raises Awareness on Fire Safety

 

The Director of the Kwara State Fire Service, Prince Falade John Olumuyiwa, recently visited the Oba of Reke community, Alhaji Razaq Giwa Afolabi, the Alangua of Reke community in Ifelodun Local Government, Kwara State.

This is contained in a statement signed by Mr Hassan Adekunle, the Head of Department   Media and Publicity,  Kwara State Fire Service and made available to newsmen in Ilorin on Saturday.

During the visit, he expressed his delight at the community and also raised awareness about fire safety precautions, delivering a lecture to the community.

Director Prince Falade John Olumuyiwa acknowledged the collective efforts of the community members and commended their commitment to safety measures.

He stressed the importance of proactive measures in preventing fire disasters and ensuring the well-being of the community.

In response, the Ala-angua of Reke community, Alhaji Razaq Giwa Afolabi, thanked the director for the commendation and encouraged him to continue prioritizing the safety of the people of Reke.

The monarch emphasized the significance of ongoing efforts in minimizing the remarkable record of zero fire disasters in the Reke community.
