Fire Guts Building at Ikotun Rd, Offa – Kwara Fire Service

Kwara State Fire Service has successfully put out a fire that razed a building along Ikotun road in Offa local Government area of Kwara State.

This is contained in a statement signed by Hassan Adekunle, the Head of Department, Media and Publicity, Kwara State Fire Service and made available to newsmen in Ilorin.

According to him, on February 14th, 2024, at 18:25 hours,building along Ikotun road in Offa local Government area the Kwara State Fire Service responded to a fire incident at No.4 Alfa Ola’s House, adjacent to Alhaji Malowo’s building along Ikotun road in Offa local Government area, Kwara state.

The fire crew promptly arrived at the scene to find a four-bedroom flat ablaze, with only the kitchen affected.

The courageous firefighters immediately began working to extinguish the fire, successfully preventing it from engulfing the entire building.

Subsequent investigation revealed that the fire was caused by a power surge.

The Director of the Kwara State Fire Service, Prince Falade, emphasized the importance of safety awareness among the public, urging everyone to remain vigilant at all times.
