NUJ Eulogizes Gov. AbdulRazaq on 64th Birthday

The Kwara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has hailed Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the occasion of his 64th birthday anniversary, describing him as a leader with a midas touch.

The council explained that AbdulRazaq, notwithstanding the attendant challenges of governing the state, has continued to exhibit exemplary leadership.

In a congratulatory message issued in Ilorin, the state Chairman and Secretary of NUJ, Abdullateef ‘Lanre Ahmed and Comrade Omotayo Ayanda respectively, noted that the state government has remained focused in rousing the consciousness of the people to hold government accountable in its policies and programmes.

The statement thanked Governor AbdulRazaq for the support his administration accorded NUJ and the cordiality that exists since its inauguration.

“Our council is delighted to rejoice with Your Excellency on the occasion of your birthday. We note with effervescence how your administration has helped to midwife good governance in the execution of capital projects and provision of financial aid to businesses at a time that economy is in distress.

“As a leader with overwhelming expectations from the populace, we are of the view that on a day like this, you are reinvigorated to consolidate on your modest attainments.

We are therefore excited to add that you are a leader with midas touch”, the congratulatory message read partly.
