Cleric Advises Nigerians To Cut Down Spending To Survive Economic Hardship

Nigerians have been charged to be moderate and cut down their spending to survive the current economic impact affecting the Nation.

The Spiritual Father and Chairman Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye who gave the charge today while declaring open the 2023 Pastoral Conference /Convention at the Church International Headquarters Galilee Land, Orile-Igbon, Oyo State, advised Nigerians to work hard to earn more income to them and their families afloat.

The Spiritual Father urged Nigerians to pray more for themselves, their families, the Church and the Nation till things get better.

“My sincere prayer is that God will see us through this temporary hardship in Jesus Christ’s name as this will pass away and we will survive it just like we did survived the civil unrest and coronavirus period ” he emphasized.

He added, “Let me say that this year’s pastoral Conference have come with one of the end-time symptoms and the effect of governmental policy that has forced an unplanned hardship on citizens of this Country”.

Abidoye turned to the Pastors “This year I wish to call you to remembrance of your core duties and responsibilities in a way to resharpen and rededicate you to the work of God. These duties include being holy in your lifestyle, preaching and teaching the word of God, providing for the regular observance of the ordinance and ceremonies of the Church to equip the believers for the works of service, being responsible for local church administration, providing pastoral care, to promote national conference interests among others”.

Earlier in his address of welcome, the Conference Supervising Pastor, Pastor Folagbade Onafuye appreciated all his predecessors, all Elders of the Council, and members of the Pastors Advisory Committee for their support.

Pastor Onafuye stated that the annual gathering was a time to unwind, learn, unlearn, relearn and be re-equipped for greater service and optimum high-flying performance.

He encouraged all participants to ensure full concentration without distraction to fully benefit from all the programmes.
