Kwara State Fire Service Saves Building From Scathefire

 

The Kwara State Fire Service on Saturday in Offa saved a building from scathefire.

This is contained in a statement signed by Hassan Adekunde,  Head of Department,  Media and Publicity,  Kwara Fire Service.

According to him,  the incident occurred today, 12th of August, 2023 at about 01:05 hours (01:05 AM) at file-Kowope Olorunkuse area Offa, Offa Local GovernmenKwarara state.

“The Brigade got to know of the fire incident through the Running call done by one anonymous person leaving very close to the scene of occurrence.

“Firemen were able to eliminate the ravaging fire on time, and out of the 2bedrooms self-contained flat and four shops in the building, only the store and kitchen were affected by the burning fire.

“The cause of the fire was due to the power surge.

“Therefore, the Director of Kwara State Fire Service, Prince Falade John Olumuyiwa urged the general public to always play safe especially during this period and not to hesitate to call the fire brigade on time whenever there is any fire emergency in their areas, as this would save lives and properties of people in the state.”
