Eid-El-Kabir: Azemhe Felicitates Muslims
A popular Televangelist and politician, Pastor Azemhe Azena, has congratulated the entire Muslims in Edo state as they celebrate the annual Eid-el-Kabir festival.
The Labour Party, LP, governorship aspirant in the upcoming elections in Edo state enjoined the muslem Ulmar to live an exemplary life of tolerance and love for humanity as commanded in the Holy Quran.
Pastor Azemhe reminded the Muslim celebrants to extol the virtues of sacrifices as exemplified by Ibrahim in the Quran, to bring about tolerance and peace in a multicultural and religious sensitive society such as ours.
The Cleric said, “this festival reminds us that by coming together, respecting one another and participating in our shared humanity, we can collectively surmount any challenge that comes our way as a people with common heritage”
Dr Azemhe used the occasion to pray for a peaceful celebration of this year’s Eid-el- Kabir festival, while hoping that everyone will take advantage of the celebration to strengthen the bond within the Muslim community while ensuring a greater sense of harmony among people of other faith.
