Soccer Scouting Activities Can Prevent Youths From Going Into Crime — FIFA Agent

Adesiyan Isaac Opeyemi, a FIFA licensed agent has stated that agent and scouting activities for soccer could be used to save young people from going to crime like online scamming.

The agent said this while gushing with delight and excitement at passing the recent global soccer ruling body’s exams for agents/scouts, promising that he is all set to do more in scouting for raw talents needing exposures.

Opeyemi made the statement in Ilorin, at the Kwara State Football Academy, venue of the Amapro Bet9ja playoffs.

He was in the company of Shogo Shodunke, CEO, Amapro sports promotion outfit and leading consultant in soccer related promotions.

” There are lots of talents in this country and my own job as an agent is to find them wherever they are, prepare them and showcase them so that they can become a star in future.

“FIFA has done a lot in terms of managing age related matters in talent hunt. They have trained us a great deal and there are going to be other trainings.

He further added that one of his major focus is to create opportuinity for young players in order to prevent them from becoming online scammers or fraudsters.

Speaking more on the FIFA exams, he said that it was quite challenging.

“We just did our examination recently where  59% failed the exam and 41% passed.

” I am happy to be one of those that passed the exercise.

“Our aims and objectives are to work with the young footballers.

“I work with talents who are within the age range of 15 to 20 because these are the young ones and they have longer time to play football.

“We are doing all we can to encourage young players to get the best out of their career and not become online scammers and get engaged in fraudulent acts just to get money,” he said.
