Democracy Day: Azemhe Calls For Inclusion In Governance

A governorship aspirant under the platform of the Labour Party, LP, in next year’s elections in Edo state Dr Azemhe Azena has called for a people-oriented governance which is the hallmark of true Democracy.

The Edo-born philanthropist and politician, Dr Azemhe Azena who made the call In his message to the nation through his media team added that “a government that is not elected by the people cannot be for the people”

Dr Azena reiterated that until and unless the people “have their say and their way” true Democracy cannot be said to be practised in Nigeria.

The renowned television host of the popular program, “Turning Point” however thanked God and Nigerians for the journey so far while calling for justice, fair play and the enhancement of the rule of law in our nation.
