Easter: Bishop Adewole Urges Nigerians To Be Hopeful
Despite the the challenges confronting the nation, Nigerians have been urged to be hopeful as better things are coming out
The Bishop Diocese of Kwara Anglican Communion Rt Revd Sunday Timothy Adewole Made the call in Easter service at the Cathedral of Saint Barnabas Anglican Church Sabo-Oke Ilorin, Kwara State.
He said, “we should be hopeful in an hopeless situation because the lord is there he has the ability to turn things around for good.
On the aftermath of the 2023 general elections he said “nobody can come to power except the Lord put him there if we want to seek redress, we should go the legal way, we should not incite people, we should follow the law of the land and then hope on the lord” He said
Speaking on the essence of Easter festivities, Bishop Adewole said “Easter celebration is the resurrection of the lord Jesus Christ, today Jesus rose to defeat Satan and to open the gate of eternity for believers, today is so important because if there is no resurrection there will be no Christianity.
He rose that is why we have confidence to know that even after living this world there will be place in the Kingdom” he said
Some of the faithfuls also expressed delight on the celebration of Easter and hope for better days ahead.
