NSCDC Arrest Adamo Yunusa, Her Son For Allegedly Brutalising Sukura (Photos)

The Gender Unit of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kwara state Command, has arrested one Adamo Yunusa and her son Saheed Yunusa for allegedly brutalising a 12 years old Sukura Suleiman.

This is contained in a statement signed by DSC Ayeni Olasunkanmi, the Command’s spokesperson in Ilorin on Tuesday.

According to him, the report was brought to the Command Headquarters by a concerned citizen who got the hint of the severe injuries inflicted on the little girl by her Aunty (Adamo).

“The two suspects were arrested at their residence in Ile Oniponmo, Ayelabowo in Oko-olowo area, Ilorin.

“The suspect alleged that the victim, her daughter was beaten because she stole the sum of two thousand naira (N2,000).

“The state Commandant, Muhammed Tukur Ibrahim urged kwarans to be more vigilant and report any criminal act or security threat in their communities to security agencies.

“He assured the state of the command’s readiness to respond to any security threat.

“The two suspects shall be taken to the court to face the law,” he said
