Gov AbdulRazaq Has No Opponent In Kwara, Says Campaign DG

A former Senatorial aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Yahaya Seriki recently appointed as Director General (DG), Governorship Campaign Council for the 2023 general election in Kwara State, has declared that there is no completion whatsoever for state governor, Abdulrahaman Abdulrazak.

“It’s going to be walkover, I can assure,” he told journalists at the party secretariat in Ilorin after a mini rally organized by youths in the state to show appreciation for Seriki’s appointment.

The appointment had also Florence Oyeyemi, Finance commissioner, as part of the council as spokesperson.

The appointment of Seriki puts speculations of rift between the campaign council DG and Governor Abdulrazak to rest after there had been rumour of a possible disaffection between both men after party primary in the state.

But speaking on the chances of his principal, Seriki said that APC already has the state in the bag.

“What you see here is just a demonstration of how much Kwarans love the governor and the party,” he said showing newsmen the mammoth crowd in and outside the party secretariat.

“Even the appointment as DG came to me as a surprise.

“And as you can see the younger generation are in jubilation over my appointment as DG of the Abdulrazak campaign.

“What you see is an token of appreciation to the governor.

“By 2023, we will deliver all our candidates.

“As it is in Kwara State, there are no other parties; they continue to rant, or make propaganda or even make as much noise, but the truth it has been and will continue to be APC.
